The SPS Summer Academy is an intensive academic programme hosted by the European University Institute’s Department of Political and Social Sciences (SPS). It offers advanced students and recent graduates the opportunity to explore cutting-edge topics in political science, sociology, and international relations within an interdisciplinary and international setting.

Through lectures, seminars, and workshops led by EUI researchers and faculty, participants engage with current debates on democracy, society, and global affairs while developing their own research perspectives. The Academy combines rigorous academic training with opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and cultural exchange, fostering a community of young scholars eager to address today’s most pressing social and political challenges.
